The Client.

With both online & offline presence across the UK, Sofa Club was founded in 2012 by Louis Rose and Tom Oneill and has managed to attract a strong social media presence and celebrity following, including collaborations with Style Sister, Pretty Little Thing and Stormzy. 

Sofa Club’s mission is to create iconic sofa designs that amalgamate current trends with classic style to captivate a community of trend-loving, house-proud humans. Their neutral colour palettes and practical fabrications mean their sofas adapt and change to the progression of personal taste. This means that Sofa Club styles always remain relevant, yet versatile and can be re-styled in line with current interior trends. 

Challenge.

Following a rebrand and a new website in 2022, Sofa Club had seen a decline in organic traffic, visibility and keyword rankings. Further, their paid activity wasn't scaling efficiently and YoY performance was significantly down despite account spend being up, with a heavy reliance on branded activity. 

Solution.

The focus was predominantly on driving volume and raising awareness, with a knock-on effect on creating a pipeline of future customers. Our approach to the workflow was simple, if an action couldn’t be originated back to achieving one of our key aims, we didn’t do it. 

We approached this with a combined search strategy, ensuring Paid & SEO worked hand-in-hand to further our combined objectives. Improving on-page targeting and query term accuracy, with an aim of reducing CPCs and increasing volume and driving efficiencies across the team by completing and sharing combined keyword research and search query reports.
